Administrator – Machine Health Check & Thorough Examination Support
About the role Scot JCB Group is expanding its Machine Health Check (MHC) and Thorough Examination (CTE/LOLER) function, seeking a proactive, customer-focused Administrator to support growth.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate Machine Health Checks (MHCs) and Thorough Examinations (CTEs)
- Review engineer reports for accuracy and flag anomalies
- Escalate incomplete inspections to internal teams
- Liaise with Service Supervisors to arrange defect repairs
- Collaborate with Parts and Service teams to generate quotations
- Communicate inspection findings and repairs to customers
- Issue pursuant certificates and conduct invoicing for CTEs
- Monitor remedial work completion and track trend data
- Compile monthly reports with:
- Defect trends
- Conversion rates
- Revenue metrics
- Support Contracts Administrator with service contract management
- Aid telematics contract renewals
- Provide general aftersales administrative support

Ideal qualifications
- Prior experience in administration, parts, service, sales, or customer support
- Sect-specific preference for construction, agricultural, plant, or machinery sectors
- Strong verbal/written communication for customer interactions
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Self-motivation and proven workload prioritisation
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Hours Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm at our Dennistoun depot (relocating to Govan in 18 months).
