Service Advisor
Fleet Service Advisor – Thermo King UK
Thermo King UK is hiring a Fleet Service Advisor to join the team in Bolton office.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage all inbound calls to the Customer Service Centre while maintaining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) compliance.
- Prioritise workloads efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring:
- On-time delivery of spares
- Product excellence and adherence to customer needs
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with suppliers and internal teams to optimise work allocation and cooperation.
- Monitor and meet customer KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while handling all requests.
- Assist the management team in operational tasks as required by the Service Centre’s demands.
- Process warranty claims efficiently, ensuring suppliers receive support within reasonable timelines.
- Make tactical service decisions, including:
- Coordinate vehicle breakdowns and spares assignments while controlling costs
- Oversee movements of vehicles to meet KPIs and SLAs.
- Chase suppliers for timely repairs and ensure the Vehicle Outstanding Result (VOR) meets targets.
- Maintain detailed job logs and:
- Update system records to reflect job statuses
- Document customer calls received and requests made
- Provide real-time updates to customers on repair progress
- Address any customer inquiries promptly

Required Skills & Experience
To succeed in this Fleet Service Advisor role, you will need:
- Proven ability to demonstrate high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clarity and professionalism.
- Proficient use of computer systems, with a preferable working knowledge of Kerridge or R2C software.
- Strong capacity to:
- Work autonomously or as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail that ensures accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Flexibility and motivation to handle ongoing tasks effectively.
- Professionalism supported by a strong work ethic.
- Proactive approach to solving problems for both internal and external customers.

Availability & Shift Pattern
- Workweek: 4 days on, 4 days off with shift hours between 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
- Location: On-site at Thermo King UK, Bolton Office Postcode: BL6 4SA
