The Role: Service Advisor – Permanent Full-Time
Location: Battersea Volkswagen (London)
Contract: Permanent Hours: 42 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm, one early finish per week; Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis) Salary: OTE up to £38,000 (uncapped) with a basic £32,000 per annum Key Responsibilities:
About the Job:
- An exciting opportunity to join our friendly aftersales team as a Service Advisor.
- Lead and support our Aftersales Department, handling bookings, customer interactions, and technical queries with exceptional communication skills.
- Report to the Aftersales Manager, receiving training and mentoring to develop your career in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Book MOTs, services, and repairs for customers while advising on warranty coverage and upselling suitable parts/accessories.
- Liaise with the Aftersales department to manage appointments, schedules, and turnaround times efficiently.
- Handle a high volume of customer interactions (in-person, over the phone, and via online bookings).
- Provide clear, concise explanations of technical information to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update booking systems promptly.

Personality and Skills:
- Energetic, warm, and passionate about delivering first-class customer experiences.
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills.

- Previous experience working with Kerridge (or ADP) and other essential dealer systems will be advantageous.
