Service Advisor – Automotive (KIA)

Full Time – Permanent

Location: Norton Way Honda/Mazda

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Salary: £30-33k OTE per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming customers and managing their service journey with a friendly, customer-first approach.
  • Creating clear and accurate job cards and invoices, ensuring transparency at all times.
  • Working closely with the workshop controller, parts team, and service manager to deliver smooth, high-quality service experiences.
  • Updating vehicle details, service history, and managing requests via 1Link to maintain accurate records.
  • Liaising confidently with leasing companies and retail customers to gain work approvals.
  • Identifying upsell opportunities that benefit both the customer and the department.
  • Spotting areas for improvement to help us continuously enhance our service standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Customer Service experience and good understanding of how to meet customers needs.
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Genuine passion for customer service and relationship-building.
  • Experience selling or promoting additional services in a service environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy dealership environment.
  • A full UK driving license. (Essential)
