Service Advisor
Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicle maintenance needs are met with exceptional service. This role involves managing customer interactions, recommending additional services, and maintaining accurate transaction records. The Service Advisor plays a vital role in fostering customer loyalty and ensuring smooth workshop operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and efficiently, establishing a positive rapport from the outset.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately record vehicle issues and service requirements.
- Provide detailed explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance options, including upselling additional services where appropriate.
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper financial records.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
- Maintain organised records of all service transactions, appointments, and customer interactions.
- Keep the reception area tidy and professional at all times.

Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Mechanical knowledge or understanding of automotive systems is advantageous.
- Proven ability to upsell services in a respectful and informative manner.
- Experience with cash handling and basic financial transactions.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.

Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor.
- English language proficiency.
- Location: Prescot (In person)
