Service Advisor – Brighton Mercedes-Benz

About the Role
Location & Contract
Brightons Mercedes-Benz is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site.
Working Hours
- 42 Hours weekly (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with one early finish per week)
- Saturdays (8am to 2pm) on a rota basis
Salary & Benefits
- OTE up to £38,000 (uncapped) with a basic salary of £32,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
You will work as part of our friendly Aftersales team, contributing to:
- Booking MOTs, services, and other repair work for customers.
- Advising customers on warranty cover and upselling additional parts and accessories that benefit them.
- Liaising with the Aftersales department, organising and scheduling appointments based on workload and call volumes.
- Managing a high volume of customers daily, including telephone calls and online bookings.
- Updating customers on turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the vehicle’s workshop period.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and system updates for bookings.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
✔ A warm personality and plenty of energy, with a genuine passion for cars. ✔ Expert communication skills, capable of explaining technical details clearly while building strong customer rapport. ✔ Customer service-oriented, with a proven track record in automotive aftersales. ✔ Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment. ✔ Experience using Kerridge/ADP or knowledge of industry dealer systems (advantageous).
