Service Advisor
Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 Basic (Dependent on Experience)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional automotive dealership in Bristol. This customer-facing role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle check-in through to completion of repairs and servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and manage service bookings.
- Accurately identify customer requirements and vehicle concerns.
- Liaise with technicians and workshop staff regarding vehicle progress.
- Provide customers with updates and obtain authorisation for additional work.
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and service documentation.
- Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
- Ensure all work is completed to agreed timescales and customer expectations.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate records using the dealer management system.

Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
- Good IT and system skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable
- Main dealership experience.
- Knowledge of Kerridge, Pinnacle, Keyloop, or similar DMS systems.
- Experience working towards customer satisfaction and performance targets.
