Job Title

  • Permanent Full-time

Hours

  • 42 hours weekly (Monday to Friday: 8am–6pm, with one early finish and Saturdays: 8am–2pm on a rota basis)

Salary

  • OTE up to £38,000 (uncapped), with a basic salary of £32,000 per annum

About the Role

Guildford Audi is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team.

You’ll thrive in a friendly aftersales team and bring exceptional communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you’ll have opportunities to develop your skills, enhance your car industry knowledge, and establish a successful career path. This is a standout opportunity for motivated individuals with a passion for customer service and vehicles!

Key to this role is the satisfaction of continuous training and brand development, plus exciting progression opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Appointment Management
    • Booking MOTs, services, and repair work for customers
    • Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volume
    • Managing inquiries from multiple daily customer interactions, including phone and online booking queries
    • Ensuring customers are infomed of turnaround times and maintaining effective communication during vehicle repair periods

  • Sales & Consultation

    • Advising customers on warranty coverage and upselling parts/accessories that enhance value and convenience
    • Translating technical details into clear, customer-friendly explanations
  • Record Management

    • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the System (ideally with exposure to Kerridge/ADP)

Person Specification

  • Commercial Acumen & Energy

    • Ability to handle a high-energy environment with positive attitude and outgoing personality
    • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Social & Technical Communication Skills

    • Exceptional ability to build rapport, explain complex issues simply, and adapt communication for diverse audiences
    • Advantageous to have Kerridge/ADP experience and broad automotive dealer systems knowledge
  • Teamwork & Independence

    • Thrives as a collaborative team player while using initiative and accountability in independent tasks
  • Industry-Relevant Experience

    • Previous experience in automotive aftersales or related service roles is a strong preference. No spin here: this is a passion-for-customers-and-cars role!
