Service Advisor

Service Advisor – Hamilton Audi (Permanent Full Time)

About the Role

Location: Hamilton Audi, Scotland Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time Hours:

  • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): 8:00am – 6:00pm (1 early finish per week)
  • Saturdays: 8:00am – 2:00pm (rota basis)

Salary:

  • Basic: £29,000 per annum
  • OTE: Up to £35,000 (uncapped)

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team. This is your chance to thrive in a fast-paced environment, progress your career, and deliver exceptional customer service.

As part of our friendly aftersales team, you’ll work closely with colleagues and customers, building strong rapport while developing your skills. Our Aftersales Manager will support your growth, providing technical training and opportunities for career advancement within the automotive industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Booking appointments for MOTs, services, and repairs, ensuring smooth workflows and customer satisfaction.
  • Consulting customers on warranty coverage, advising on supplementary parts and accessories where appropriate.
  • Liaising with the Aftersales team to coordinate and prioritise appointments based on demand and workload.
  • Managing high volumes of customer interactions, including in-person consultations, phone calls, and online bookings.
  • Updating customers on vehicle turnaround times and maintaining clear communication throughout workshops.
  • Maintaining accurate records in our Kerridge/ADP systems (prior experience with these platforms is beneficial but not essential).

Person Specification

✅ Essential:

  • Exceptional communication skills with a warm, engaging personality.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely to customers.
  • Strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for automotive excellence.
  • Experience (or interest) in automotive aftersales and dealership environments.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

✅ Desirable:

  • Previous experience using Kerridge/ADP vehicle management systems.
  • Knowledge of additional dealership software or automotive platforms.
  • Familiarity with automotive warranty structures and upselling strategies.
