Salary: £30,000 Basic | OTE: £38,000+

Location: Reading

Hours: Monday to Friday

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional dealership in Reading. This is a customer-focused role offering a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday hours and strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process.
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Providing accurate updates on vehicle progress and managing customer expectations.
  • Preparing job cards and ensuring all required information is recorded accurately.
  • Liaising closely with the workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Upselling additional products and services where appropriate.
  • Handling customer queries and resolving any issues professionally.
  • Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using dealership management systems and computer software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
