Service Advisor – Fareham

Salary: £30,000 Basic | OTE: £36,000
Location: Fareham
Hours: Monday – Friday
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy automotive aftersales team in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service while working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
As the key link between customers and the workshop, you will manage the service journey from vehicle check-in through to collection, ensuring customers are kept fully informed throughout the process. Service Advisors typically act as the liaison between customers and technicians, managing repair orders, service bookings, estimates, and customer communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting customers on arrival
- Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing and repair
- Accurately raising job cards and repair orders
- Providing service and repair estimates
- Liaising with technicians regarding vehicle progress
- Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
- Upselling additional work, products, and services where appropriate
- Managing warranty and service plan enquiries
- Ensuring all customer records are maintained accurately
- Delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and retention

About You
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy aftersales department
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Experience using dealer management systems would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence

- £30,000 Basic Salary
- £36,000 OTE
- Monday to Friday working pattern
