Lee Fire & Security Ltd is an NSI Gold approved installer and maintainer of advanced life safety and security systems. The company delivers fire alarm solutions, including aspirating systems, as well as intruder alarms with police response, monitored CCTV systems, and automated gates and perimeter protection. It also provides access control solutions, including biometric systems, and audio/video entry systems for a wide range of clients. Lee Fire & Security Ltd specializes in fully integrated systems that connect with CI and BMS platforms, offering comprehensive, high-performance protection.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Service and Maintenance Engineer role based in Greater London. The engineer will carry out routine and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and related integrated systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, testing and commissioning equipment, completing accurate service reports, and ensuring systems comply with relevant standards and regulations. The role also involves responding to service calls, liaising with clients on-site, providing clear technical explanations, and collaborating with the wider engineering team to deliver reliable, high-quality service. The engineer is expected to follow safe working practices and represent the company professionally at all times.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for fire, security, and integrated systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance capabilities to plan, execute, and document routine service activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills for safe installation, testing, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical and electronic components.
- Relevant vocational or technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering are beneficial.
- Experience working with fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, or similar life safety/security systems is highly advantageous.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and follow industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on client sites in Greater London.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel to multiple customer locations as part of the role.
