Service Charge Officer
Client Accountant
📍 Location: South Essex 💸 Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
We're on a mission to partner with a leading property management business, seeking a Client Accountant to enhance their dynamic team.
This opportunity is ideal for a service charge accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, managing their accounts independently while collaborating closely with property management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare service charge reconciliations and annual accounts
- Develop budgets and oversee ongoing service charge management
- Handle utility and direct recoverable cost reconciliations
- Process rent, service charge, insurance, and ground rent demands
- Manage arrears and provide client reporting
- Administer tenant and landlord accounts
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, suppliers, and property managers

Must-Have Skills & Experience
✅ Relevant expertise in property management accounts and service charge accounting ✅ Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and organisation ✅ Exceptional attention to detail ✅ Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders ✅ Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
