Contract terms
Starting salary: PO1 (£40,182 – £42,060)
Work location: Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London, N22 7TR
Hours per week: 36 per week
Contract type: Permanent
Closing date: Sunday, 26th July 2026 at 23:59
Expected interview date: W/c 10th August 2026

About The Role
The Service Charge Officer role at Haringey Council is a critical position responsible for calculating accurate and transparent service charges for our leaseholders and providing an excellent customer service. You will play a key role in achieving the Homeownership Teams targets and this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the organisation. This role provides a platform for personal growth and development, as you’ll have the opportunity to refine your leasehold knowledge and expand your professional horizons in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About The Team
The Leasehold Service Charge Team is part of our Homeownership Team which delivers services to around 5000 leaseholders. There are four specialist teams managing RTB, service charges, section 20 and Income collection. We emphasise teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication.
About You
We are seeking a customer focused individual with a strong drive to excel in their performance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leasehold service charges and have excellent customer service skills. They will demonstrate impeccable written and verbal communication skills, consistently upholding a standard of professionalism in all interactions.
