Service Co-Ordinator
We're looking for an organised and proactive Service Co-Ordinator who can thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have a technical background within diesel engines, marine, offshore, industrial power generation, plant or commercial vehicles. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be confident understanding technical terminology and working closely with engineers, customers and suppliers to coordinate service activities.
Whether you've progressed from a hands-on engineering role or have previously worked in a technical service office, you'll be comfortable discussing maintenance, repairs and engine-related work while ensuring service jobs run smoothly from enquiry through to completion.
The role includes producing formal quotations as and when required and ordering of products to meet the workshop and customer’s needs and expectations. In addition, to ensuring profitability of service works and oversight on QHSE.

Essential Skills:
- Previous experience coordinating service work within a workshop or engineering environment.
- A technical background in diesel engines, marine, industrial, plant, HGV or commercial vehicle engineering.
- Able to understand technical terminology and communicate effectively with engineers and customers.
- Experience producing quotations, planning work schedules and coordinating with parts.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration and co-ordination of the day-to-day running of service jobs.
- Raising of work packs for service engineers.
- Raising customer quotations and processing service-related invoices.
- Ensuring parts are available on time to complete works.
- Liaising with customers to plan work.
- Liaising with the rest of the service team to organise and plan work around other tasks.
- Administration of service-related planners, registers etc.
- Any other duty or task that may be deemed reasonable.

This role is 39 hours per week Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 08:00-15:30 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The salary negotiable and is dependant on your level of experience.
