Adullam has opportunities available to join our support team in Bury as a Service Coordinator.

About The Role – Service Coordinator

The main purpose of this role is to provide support to people with multiple and complex needs as part of a service for those who have lost their home or been rough sleeping.

You will help a service user to develop the skills needed to move on into independent living/permanent housing via a person-centred support package that is tailor made to suit the needs of everyone accessing the service.

The role works on a rota to contribute to the staffing of a 24-hours-a-day service.

The role is full time of 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is 7.5 hours a day between the hours of 8am and 8.30pm weekdays, with an occasional weekend shift (currently one every 3 weeks) to deliver activities and some elements of the service outside of 'normal working hours'.

You will be expected to work within the organisation's charitable aims and objectives and contribute to the maintenance and development of the Association's values, culture, and ethos.

About you

We Are Looking For a Service Coordinator With

  • Experience of managing a caseload of service users.
  • An awareness of issues relating to vulnerable individuals and those that have faced multiple disadvantages.
  • Experience in helping others understand their goals and helping them to achieve an outcome.
  • Skills in recording and reporting case notes via an online Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Experience of working within safeguarding policies and procedures and of identifying, monitoring, and reporting safeguarding concerns.
  • A flexible, resilient, thoughtful, therapeutic approach to working with people.
  • Practical skills to support service users in activities of daily living required for independence.
  • An ability to motivate and empower service users to have greater control and choice over their life and opportunities.
  • An ability to demonstrate our values and behaviours and work within our Christian ethos.

This role is salaried at £26,890.50 per annum.
