SARIA’s UK operations have a market-leading presence across sectors associated with the food chain. Their companies manufacture quality products for human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, industrial applications, biofuels, and renewable energy. The group provides services for farming and the food industry, operating across 15 sites nationwide with an annual turnover of around £320 million and employing approximately 750 people.
The Position
Applications are invited for a Service Delivery Driver – Class C role based at the Hartshill site.
- Hours: 48 hours per week, governed by EU Drivers Hours rules and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
- Flexibility required: Start and finish times may vary based on business needs, shifts typically on days and afternoons (initially late shifts).
- Uniform provided.

Responsibilities
The duties of a Service Delivery Driver – Class C include (but are not limited to):
- Emptying or exchanging 240-litre or 400-litre wheeled bins from clients' premises, handling food, catering, or butchery waste.
- Performing manual handling of collected materials.
- Placing waste into designated areas.
- Completing required documentation.
- Ensuring vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and pre-shift vehicle checks.
- Actively representing Sarval as an ambassador, treating clients courteously and respectfully.
- Operating an electronic PDA in line with system requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful, you will need:
- A full, clean Class C HGV driving licence.
- Experience with multi-drop services in a single-crew environment (preferred).
- A smart, professional appearance with a pleasant manner.
- The ability to represent the company effectively during client interactions.
- Knowledge of EU Driving Rules and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
- Completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (required for employment).
- A valid Driver CPC, and Digitachograph Driver Card.
