Why join us?

You’ll be joining the Governance team within Service Delivery at DWF Claims; a global insurance claims handling business operating across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and North America. This is a central function that supports multiple regions and plays a key role in ensuring quality, compliance and operational excellence across the business.

The team is involved in a broad and interesting mix of activities, including internal controls, client audits, onboarding new clients, due diligence, and maintaining policies and procedures. You’ll also contribute to important areas such as complaints handling, data protection and risk management, giving you exposure to a wide range of governance and compliance processes within an international business.

This is a collaborative, geographically spread team, offering flexibility in where you are based across the UK (with key hubs in Leeds, Bristol and London). You’ll benefit from a flexible hybrid working approach, with some office time expected and opportunities to connect in person through quarterly team meetings.

You’ll have the chance to work with stakeholders across multiple countries, gaining international exposure while largely operating within UK working hours. Where occasional flexibility is needed to support global colleagues, this is balanced with adjustments to your working pattern.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
