Job Description

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, collaborating closely with customers, the wider Service Delivery Team, and Technical Consultants, to ensure successful service delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

Client & Service Management

  • Service Reporting: Produce both customer-focused and internal performance reports.
  • Service Reviews: Conduct regular customer reviews to assess progress and enhance service quality.
  • Customer Escalations: Handle escalations, issues, problems, and new requirements effectively.
  • Financial & Commercial Oversight:
    • Oversee invoicing and financial management of assigned accounts.
    • Conduct monthly forecasting of project costs and revenue, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective measures.
  • Compliance & Risk Assurance:
    • Ensure ISO 20000 compliance and adherence to best practices.
    • Manage business continuity and mitigate risks.
  • Service Improvement & Accountability:
    • Continuously improve service delivery through performance metrics and initiatives.
    • Achieve customer satisfaction targets and drive operational improvements.

Strategic Growth & Development

  • Business Development: Proactively explore and drive opportunities for new or additional projects with existing clients.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong, consultative relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications, Essential Experience, and Skills

  • *Minimum 8+ years of experience in Service Delivery Management.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written), essential.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) for interacting with technical teams and clients.
  • Proven track record in customer service and relationship management.
  • Analytical abilities: Ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Revenue generation experience: Proven ability to identify and secure new revenue streams.
  • Process orientation: Comfortability working within a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Self-starter & adaptability: Demonstrates initiative, drives assignments autonomously, and knows when to escalate issues.
  • Team & customer-centric mindset: Strong collaborative skills and advocacy for client success.

Technical & Certifications

  • ITIL v4 certified with competencies in Service Design, Operations, and Transition.
  • Preference for experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure) and enterprise applications (e.g., ERPs, CRM).
