What success looks like in this role
Unisys is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to lead the delivery of critical IT services for key banking and financial services clients. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring service excellence, operational stability, and client satisfaction within complex, regulated environments.
You will be a Delivery Enablement Manager for our core banking solution, managing a mixed skill team to deliver new product features on time, to budget and to the required quality. You will be liaising with a wide range of stakeholders to do this including the development Scrum teams, client delivery managers, and senior management at both Unisys and clients. A key aspect of the role will also be to proactively improve the processes, tooling and technology used by the development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end to end development of projects implementing functional and technical change to our banking solution.
- Proven ability to manage change in projects
- Manage mixed skill team of associates, become part of the leadership group of the Development Centre.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, including senior business and IT leaders
- Ensure delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations, proactively managing risks and escalations
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies, automation opportunities, and service enhancements
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes in line with defined processes and best practices
- Oversee third-party/vendor performance where applicable
- Support commercial governance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Proven experience managing Development activities within a banking or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of regulated environments, compliance, and risk management
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development projects
- Solid knowledge and commitment to processes and data driven management
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex development projects and senior stakeholders
- Experience managing budgets and service profitability
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Experience working with global delivery models
- Experience with participation in Audits (ISO 20001 especially)
- Experience within outsourced / MSP environments
