Service Delivery Manager
Salary – £42,249 - £58,093 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 hours per week
Location & Postcode – Havering, RM12 5BF
As a Service Delivery Manager at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of waste and recycling collection services, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in line with contract requirements. You will lead operational teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure all objectives and KPIs are met.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Managing the day-to-day operation of waste and recycling collection services
- Leading and supporting operational teams, ensuring high performance and compliance
- Managing staff, vehicles, and equipment efficiently and in line with legal requirements
- Acting as a key point of contact for the client
- Monitoring performance data and identifying improvements to service delivery
- Supporting the implementation of new processes, initiatives, and service changes
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Supporting recruitment, training, and employee welfare activities
- Working closely with senior management to identify risks and improve service delivery
What are we looking for?
- Experience managing operational contracts and leading teams
- Strong understanding of waste, recycling, or environmental services
- Proven ability to meet KPI targets and manage service performance
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with operational or fleet management systems is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- A proactive, motivated approach with strong leadership skills
