Role Summary
The Service Delivery Officer provides administrative control of the repairs service, ensuring repairs are effectively logged, prioritised, scheduled, and monitored through to completion.
The role is responsible for managing the Call Centre Administrators and overseeing the day-to-day administration of the service, ensuring repair appointments are booked efficiently, operative diaries are effectively managed, and residents receive clear and timely communication. Working closely with the Repairs Supervisor and Contracts Manager, the post holder ensures works are appropriately allocated, service performance is monitored, and repairs are delivered within agreed service standards.

The post holder plays a key role in maintaining operational flow across the service, identifying emerging issues within the works pipeline and ensuring repairs are delivered within agreed service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Management and oversight of the repairs call centre and call handling standards.
- Oversight of repair logging, triage, and appointment booking processes.
- Allocation and scheduling of works to operatives.
- Monitoring and reporting of Works in Progress (WIP) and service performance.
- First-line escalation for resident communication issues and access failures.
- Administration and development of the Civica repairs system.
Requirements
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as part of the selection process the successful applicant will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service check.
