Job Description

Are you an experienced Service Manager looking to broaden your service design expertise in high-profile, secure client environments where precision matters? Or do you already have service design experience and want a fresh challenge?

Joining our established Service Management team as a Service Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and designing end-to-end services for distinguished client accounts operating within secure environments.

You’ll work closely with Solution Architects, project teams and service leaders to turn requirements into robust, scalable service models – ensuring services are designed right first time and are ready for successful delivery and operation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who understands how services are designed and built and is looking to broaden their impact, with support and development to grow into more design and architecture-focused roles. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values continuous learning and improvement.

This is a hybrid role based in Farnborough, with an expectation to be onsite 2 to 3 days per week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the end-to-end design of new and transitioning services, ensuring they are fit for purpose and ready for live environments.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into effective service models and operational support structures.
  • Define service offerings including scope, deliverables, commercial considerations and risks.
  • Establish and manage service cost models, budgets and forecasts to drive value and efficiency.
  • Define and implement service performance measures including Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Drive continual service improvement through innovation, automation and tooling enhancements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
