Service Desk Analyst

Are you passionate about technology and delivering outstanding customer service? Do you enjoy solving problems, supporting colleagues and continuously developing your technical skills? We are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our Group IT team to play a key role in providing a first line support across our Group.

Your role

This is an exciting opportunity if you have some first line support experience and are looking to build your technical expertise, broaden your experience and develop a long term IT career in a dynamic operational environment. As the first point of contact for IT support, you will help colleagues with a wide range of technologies across a broad range of business functions, by managing incidents, troubleshooting technical issues, service requests and escalations while ensuring a professional, responsive and customer focused service.

Who are we?

Already one of the UK’s leading port and logistics companies, we are planning substantial capital investment over the next 5 years to achieve our vision of becoming the UK’s leading port operator. We have ambitious plans to grow and transform the supply chain to benefit our customers. Our investments are decarbonizing our operations, which in turn is helping us work towards our goal of having Net Zero Port Operations by 2040. Much of our success depends on our unrivalled facilities and technology. But in our sector, it comes down to having the right talent to enable our organisation to grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
