ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an entry-level Service Desk Analyst candidate to join a very friendly and supportive IT service desk team, to provide IT support to a user group of around 400 people.

The team is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and willing to grow through experience. A proactive attitude, strong initiative, and a desire for continuous development are more important to the team than extensive experience. We are a Microsoft 365 environment with bespoke legal software systems, which include Net Documents and 3E.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Answering calls/emails/Teams messages to the IT service desk number/centralised inbox and logging these requests on the helpdesk system
  • Providing effective IT support services across the firm both onsite and remotely, across software support/set-up and hardware maintenance and AV set-up.

Note to agencies: We are sourcing this role directly at this time.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a passion for problem-solving and a curious mind, place importance on providing excellent client service, and a genuine interest in developing a career in a busy but friendly IT service desk team. We are open to seeing candidates who are at the start of their IT journey, so you may have a degree in Computer Science, completed an IT bootcamp course, IT apprenticeship, or have some on-the-job IT or customer-facing experience.

In return, you will be joining a loyal and dedicated service desk team, who support each other and work together to provide a first-class support service to all our people.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
