Help Shape the Future of Technology at Zempler Bank

At Zempler Bank, we're transforming banking for the UK's small businesses and entrepreneurs. Technology plays a critical role in that journey, and we're looking for a Service Desk Engineer who's excited by solving problems, improving experiences, and helping drive meaningful change.

This isn't your typical service desk role.

While supporting colleagues remains an important part of the position, you'll also work on technology projects, automation initiatives, identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud-first device management. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we work, implement new technologies, and contribute to a technology environment that supports innovation and growth.

If you're curious, proactive, and looking for a role where you can develop your engineering skills while making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a hybrid role, with colleagues spending three days per week in the office and the remaining time working remotely.

About the Team

Our Service Desk Engineering team sits at the heart of the business, enabling colleagues to do their best work every day.

We do much more than resolve tickets. We design and implement solutions, strengthen security, support large-scale technology projects, and continuously look for smarter ways of working. Recently, we've delivered a successful Windows 11 migration through Microsoft Intune and are now exploring opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve both efficiency and user experience.

You'll work closely with teams across Technology, Information Security, and the wider business, gaining exposure to a broad range of technologies and initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
