Service Desk Manager – Forward-Thinking Organisation (Hybrid Role)
A forward-thinking organisation based in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager to lead and develop their IT support function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-driven business that prioritises service excellence and continuous improvement.
About the Role
As Service Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality IT support services across the organisation. You will:
- Lead a team of service desk analysts
- Ensure efficient resolution of incidents and requests
- Drive service improvements
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements
You’ll need the following to succeed:
- Proven experience in a Service Desk Manager or IT Support leadership role
- Strong knowledge of IT service management principles (ITIL desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive approach to service improvement and problem-solving
- Driving licence (travel to another site in Greater Manchester as required)
