Service Desk Support

Location: Chippenham

We are looking to grow our team with committed individuals to provide excellent customer support for our customers across the region.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Service Desk Support to join our IT Service Desk team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional technical support to users.
  • Resolving application-related issues.
  • Ensuring seamless IT service delivery.

This acting role requires the following:

  • A strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for:

  • Handling incoming issues and service requests.
  • Categorizing and managing your workload.

Hours: Mon-Fri, core hours: 9:00-17:30. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Transferable Skills and Experience

  • Process-driven approach.
  • Comfortable working within SLAs and KPIs.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers to enhance service quality.
  • Proactive ownership in obtaining essential information, evidence, and data for diagnosing and resolving complex issues (both known and new).
  • Skilled at escalating or seeking support as needed.
  • Understanding of customer business requirements and how issues impact service delivery.
  • Maintains awareness of technical and service developments while seeking opportunities to expand knowledge across products, technologies, and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail.
