Your role will be
- Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on sewage treatment plant equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, minimising downtime and maintaining compliance with operational standards.
- Monitor plant performance, analyse operational data, and recommend improvements to optimise treatment processes and asset reliability.
- Conduct emergency call-outs and respond promptly to equipment failures, implementing effective corrective actions to restore service.
- Complete detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with site operators, contractors, and customers to provide technical support, ensure safe working practices, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel independently to customer sites and respond to emergency call-outs.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of sewage treatment plant equipment.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, pumps, motors, control systems, and associated plant machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide clear technical guidance to clients and colleagues.
