Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding Fire Alarm and AOV systems
- Diastically drilling and rectifying system faults efficiently and safely
- Performing routine and reactive maintenance visits
- Responding to emergency callouts, adhering to an on-call rota
- Completing accurate service reports and certification
- Liaising professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams
- Ensembling compliance with British Standards and company procedures

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding:
- Fire Alarm systems
- Automatic Opening Vent (AOV)
- Strong ability to diagnose and rectify system faults efficiently and safely
- Experience in conducting routine and reactive maintenance visits
- Previous involvement in emergency callout roles as part of an on-call rota
- Professionalism and accuracy in completing service reports and certifications
- Capability to engage effectively with clients, sites, and internal teams
- Understanding of relevant British Standards and company practices

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & AOV Service Engineer to join our rapidly growing life safety business, based across London and the South East.
This field-based service role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fire alarm and Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems for commercial and residential clients.
As part of the team, you will:
- Ensure all works adhere to relevant British Standards and our company procedures.
- Maintain all company tools, equipment, and the assigned vehicle.
