Position: Service Callout Engineer

Location: Bristol, Somerset, Devon / North Cornwall, South West / South Wales
We’re seeking to expand our field operations team. We're looking for Service Engineers to join our team. Step into a key role in our UK operations and help us maintain our high standards of service and safety. 🚀
Scope of the Role
As a Service Engineer at KLEEMANN UK Group, you will be responsible for attending emergency breakdowns and restoring lift operations safely and efficiently. With three of our current engineers moving to a new project, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing service team and make an immediate impact in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency callouts and lift breakdowns in your designated area
- Diagnose, repair, and implement immediate solutions to restore lift service
- Perform minor adjustments and temporary repairs when necessary
- Complete accurate service documentation and reports
- Communicate effectively with the office team and clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota
- Maintain your tools, equipment, and company vehicle to high standards
- Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies

Basic Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering
- Proven experience in lift service and emergency callout response
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule
- Familiarity with various lift brands and control systems (advantageous)
