Service Engineer

Service Engineer - Customer Service Operations

As a Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining Tetra Pak’s equipment, supporting global food production, and fulfilling our commitment to safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

About the Role

You’ll be the face of Tetra Pak, delivering cutting-edge solutions to ensure our customers’ production facilities operate at peak efficiency. In this hands-on role, you will:

  • Lead on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations for food processing and packaging equipment worldwide.
  • Be the first to respond to issues, resolving technical problems with precision and solving for even ‘worst-first’ scenarios.
  • Collaborate with teams to keep critical food production-flowing, nourishing millions in over 160 countries.

What You Will Do

  • Travel to customer sites (travel may be required at short notice)
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations
  • Analyze technical issues using standard operating processes and escalate when needed
  • Train customer operators (if necessary) to optimise equipment usage
  • Support production plant efficiency and operational excellence
  • Monitor service contracts, contribute to business growth, and improve customer operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and regulatory reporting standards
  • Repurpose and promote Tetra Pak’s reputation, fostering trust and collaboration
  • Write comprehensive site visit reports on project completion

As part of a culture that prioritises safety and inclusion, you are also responsible to:

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Promote adherence to OHS and Tetra Pak safety protocols within your team

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for candidates with:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles
  • A background in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering (formal education or practical training)
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems
  • Flexibility to travel extensively as needed
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English required)
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset
