Are you an experienced Service Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working independently, and delivering first class customer service?

We're looking for a hands on engineer to join a growing engineering business, working with compressed air and vacuum equipment across a varied customer base. This is an opportunity to join a company that values technical expertise, supports career development, and provides a modern working environment where your contribution genuinely matters.

This role would suit someone with a strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background who enjoys fault finding, servicing equipment, and building lasting relationships with customers.

The Role

As a Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of compressed air and vacuum equipment, along with associated systems. You'll attend customer sites, diagnose faults, carry out repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

  • Work closely with the Service Department to keep customers informed, provide regular progress updates, and complete accurate service documentation following each visit.
  • Identify areas for improvement and support the wider business by highlighting potential opportunities while maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
