Salary: £33,000 - £37,000

Are you a hands-on field service engineer with a background in laboratory equipment? We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturer of laboratory equipment for an experienced Service Engineer.
You'd be joining a close-knit, specialist team where your technical expertise directly protects people and enables vital scientific and medical work, all while enjoying the autonomy of a field-based role, variety across different industries and site types, and real opportunities to develop deeper technical and product knowledge over time.

The role:
You'll deliver, install, commission, service and maintain specialist lab equipment and clean/controlled environments at customer sites across a range of regulated industries from pharmaceutical and healthcare to defence and research. Expect varied days: technical fault-diagnosis, hands-on installation work, customer training, and keeping on top of digital service reports and compliance documentation.
What you'll need:
- Experience as a service/installation experience in a laboratory equipment or similar technical environment
- Practical experience with biological safety cabinets or lab equipment
- DOP testing and KI Discus testing experience
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly (with occasional overnight stays)
- Ability to obtain CSCS card, DBS/security clearance where required
