As a Field Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of service activities across Derbyshire. Your technical expertise will be essential in installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control components, delivering high-quality technical solutions and services to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed service activities, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks for equipment installation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine audits and inspections of systems to:
- Verify proper functioning
- Identify areas for improvement
- Build future service job pipelines for the Aftersales division
- Collaborate with the technical department to:
- Prepare client sites for speciality equipment installation
- Liaise with customers to ensure all logistical, mechanical, and safety requirements are met prior to commissioning
- Manage the service workflow, including:
- Preparing material breakdowns
- Defining work requirements
- Utilising engineering task guidance
- Operate SCADA, PLC, and DCS platforms for efficient control and system supervision.
- Conduct or oversee factory acceptance tests at vendor workshops to ensure equipment is fully operational and ready for installation.
- Adhere strictly to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring all field activities comply with required standards.
