Service Engineers
Service Engineer
We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of CNC machine tools. This field-based role covers customer sites across the UK, carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of CNC equipment. If you have experience with machine tools and enjoy working directly with customers, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected engineering business.
What You Will Do
- Carry out planned maintenance on CNC machine tools
- Travel to customer sites across the UK to service, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime
- Provide technical support on machine controls, including Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain
- Attend product training to stay up to date with new machines and technologies
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times

What You Will Bring
- HNC in Engineering or equivalent, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
- At least three years’ experience maintaining CNC machine tools
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Heidenhain controls
- Good communication skills and confidence using PCs, mobile devices, and standard IT systems
