Overview of the Role
This role sits within Reinsurance Operations and operates at the intersection of business, operations, and change, supporting business-as-usual (BAU) activity as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
You will act as a key link between:
- Underwriting
- Operations
- Project/change teams
Ensuring that: ✔ Operational priorities ✔ Small-scale change initiatives ✔ Global business objectives
...are aligned and effectively delivered across stakeholder groups.
This is a London-based role with occasional travel across the UK and Europe.

Your New Role
Your primary responsibilities include:

Collaborate with strategy and business teams to:
- Understand objectives
- Facilitate workshops
- Shape change opportunities

Identify, assess, and scope potential initiatives, ensuring they align with:
- CTO requirements
- Operational readiness for real-world application

Support the Service Excellence Lead in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by:
- Identifying best practices
- Monitoring the impact of change initiatives

Facilitate cross-functional workshops to uncover:
- Operational challenges
- Priorities
- Improvement opportunities

Work closely with global stakeholders across:
- London
- Brussels
- New York

Ensure alignment between:
- Team activities
- Project delivery

Maintain awareness of:
- Enterprise risk
- Controls
- Audit requirements

Collaborate with team leaders to ensure:
- Operational readiness for change initiatives

About You
Essential Experience:
✅ Insurance experience (essential) or reinsurance experience (preferred) ✅ Background in:
- Underwriting operations
- Change management
- Business improvement roles
