Service Leader - Winchester (SO22)

Location: Winchester, SO22 Salary: £31,847 per year

About the Role

Community Integrated Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate health and social care professional to lead our service in Winchester. Join a multi-award-winning charity dedicated to enriching lives through tailored, person-centred support rooted in choice, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Leader, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a motivated team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
  • Setting strategic direction, driving performance, and resource allocation
  • Cultivating a positive, results-driven culture aligned with our values (We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable)
  • Safeguarding and supporting people with complex care needs—intensive behavioural planning, and ensuring dignity, safety, and quality of life at all times
  • Overseeing service quality, compliance, and financial/operational efficiency

Essential Attributes

  • Proven experience in health or social care management (e.g., Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3+ supervisory units (Scotland)/Care Management Level 3 (England))
  • A positive, proactive attitude—your support team thrives on your leadership
  • Ability to manage intensive support teams, ensuring health, safety, and person-centred goals are met
  • Basic IT skills (training provided if needed)
