Service Management & Automation Lead

We are actively looking for someone to join our dynamic team as a Service Management & Automation Lead. This is a full-time, permanent position located in our Liverpool Street office. You'll enjoy a standard workweek of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm).

As a Service Management & Automation Lead, you'll play a key role in transforming how services are delivered across the business. Acting as the owner of our Freshservice and Freshdesk platforms, you'll drive automation, optimise workflows and embed scalable service management practices that improve operational efficiency and support our continued growth. This role is about ensuring our service platforms become critical business infrastructure, enabling teams to deliver exceptional service while reducing manual processes and creating a more efficient operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary owner of Freshservice and Freshdesk, managing platform strategy, governance and continuous improvement.
  • Define and maintain service management processes that align with business objectives and support operational scalability.
  • Configure workflows, ticket lifecycles, service catalogues, SLAs and automations across both platforms. Drive an automation-first approach by identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery through workflow automation, integrations and AI capabilities.
  • Lead service management change initiatives, embedding new workflows, reporting, knowledge bases and self-service solutions into day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including resolution times, SLA compliance, customer satisfaction, automation rates and platform adoption.
  • Drive platform adoption and best practice across internal teams and customer-facing departments, ensuring maximum value is achieved from the technology.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and other business stakeholders to understand service requirements and deliver effective solutions that improve colleague and customer experiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
