About Waythrough

Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we’ve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England. Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services – and it’s all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.

Make a Real Difference in Your Community

Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

About the Role

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality support in line with Waythrough's values, contractual requirements and regulatory standards. You will provide leadership to a dedicated team, creating a positive and inclusive working environment where colleagues feel supported to deliver outstanding services.

Working collaboratively with internal teams, commissioners, health professionals and partner organisations, you'll ensure the people we support receive compassionate, person-centred care that promotes independence, wellbeing and recovery. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, safeguarding, compliance and performance, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and service development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
