Looking for your next step as a Service Manager in Leicester? Sandicliffe Motor Group is seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Service Manager / Aftersales Manager to lead our busy Leicester workshop and front-of-house service team.

About The Role – Automotive Service Manager
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the service department, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, strong workshop productivity, and commercial success.
You will lead a team of Service Advisors, Vehicle Technicians, and Workshop Controllers, driving performance while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Leading and developing Service Advisors, Technicians, and workshop teams
- Driving workshop efficiency, productivity, and profitability (hours sold, WIP control)
- Delivering outstanding customer service and improving CSI scores
- Monitoring KPIs and implementing performance improvements
- Managing warranty processes and manufacturer standards
- Handling escalated customer concerns professionally
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company policies

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Service Manager / Aftersales Manager / Workshop Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and performance
- Experience working within a main dealership or automotive environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of workshop operations, KPIs, and aftersales processes
- Full UK driving licence
