About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Service Manager roles within a dynamic operations and service delivery environment. Roles of this type could involve managing service delivery coordination, stakeholder communication and the day-to-day execution of support and operational objectives across one or more client engagements or internal service lines.
You would be working within a collaborative team environment, partnering with colleagues across multiple regions to ensure consistent service standards, drive continuous improvement and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. The role could offer scope to develop your delivery leadership capabilities while managing defined service workstreams and supporting the performance of your team.
Typical Role Overview
- Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, England; Birmingham, West Midlands, England; Bristol, City of Bristol, England (nationwide opportunities)
- Type: Permanent
- Full-time or Contract
- Day Rate: £250–280 per day or £380–450 per day, dependent on experience and contract type
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Domain: Service Delivery and Operations Management
What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Managing service delivery coordination across defined client accounts or internal service lines
- Maintaining stakeholder communication across multiple touchpoints and organisational levels
- Coordinating with internal and external teams to deliver agreed service standards and timelines
- Monitoring service performance, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting team performance through regular communication, feedback and workload coordination
- Escalating issues appropriately and managing stakeholder expectations during periods of change or challenge
- Maintaining accurate service records, reporting and documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the service function

What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- 2–4 years of experience in service delivery, operations management, or a related support function
- Proven experience in delivery coordination and stakeholder communication
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating across organisational levels
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline
- Proficiency with standard business software and systems (Microsoft Office, project management tools)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a structured team environment
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Agile or iterative delivery methodologies
- Background in STEM or technology-facing service delivery
- Experience managing service level agreements (SLAs) or KPI reporting
