Service Manager
Sunbelt Rentals – Service Delivery Manager
About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join the Sunbelt Rentals Team.
You'll be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering optimised operational excellence within your Service Centre, driving efficiences and customer service levels across all areas to support wider regional and divisional objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent standards of service to both internal and external customers, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded
- Manage asset availability at the Service Centre, maintaining fleet stocks at regional requirements, with high-quality presentation standards
- Achieve or exceed all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maximise efficiency, utilisation, and profitability of the region
- Ensure effective cost management of Service Centre expenditure and support regional budget targets
- Lead, manage, develop, and motivate the Service Centre team while adhering to company policies
- Promote a safe working culture, ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards and engagement across all colleagues
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and Regional Operations Centre
- Preserve the highest operational standards and ensure property and asset security
- Support the regional sales team in developing new sales opportunities and growing the business

About You
We invest in your success, providing training and personal development tailored to your career aspirations—including IOSH accreditation support if required.
Requirements
You must have:
- A successful track record in operational management or service delivery in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in interpreting business/financial data (e.g., profit & loss, budgets)
- Leadership experience, including team management and development
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), influencing, and negotiation expertise
- Proven customer service experience, with a customer-focused mindset
- Strategic awareness of business drivers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Valid driving licence required
- Preference for experience in the plant hire industry (though not essential)
