Our Asset Management Services – EV & Infrastructure Team is looking for a passionate and dedicated Service Manager - EV & Infrastructure to join our amazing team and help make a difference today.
About The Role
This role sits within the EV & Infrastructure Team of Asset Management Services.
To manage the operational delivery of Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure and associated public realm assets across the borough.
To act as the key operational conduit between the Delivery Manager – EV & Infrastructure and frontline delivery teams, ensuring that EV infrastructure programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
The post holder will oversee subcontractors and installation teams, ensuring effective site supervision, compliance with health and safety legislation, and the accurate capture and maintenance of asset data and GIS systems.
To ensure works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality requirements, with risks effectively managed across operational delivery
About You
- To manage and supervise the delivery of EV Infrastructure Programmes. Acting as a cost centre manager with responsibility for operational delivery elements.
- To assist in monitoring budgets, contractor spend, and programme costs, ensuring works are delivered within financial targets.
- To contribute to identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities within delivery programmes.
- To manage staff and ensure compliance in regards to Health and safety and relevant council policies.
- To engage and update relevant stakeholders including residents via digital platforms, such as the website and social media.
- To be an advocate and leader in ensuring diversity and inclusion of all staff, residents and stakeholders in all we do.

About The Team
The EV & Infrastructure Team within Asset Management Services is at the forefront of delivering sustainable transport solutions across the borough. The team is committed to expanding and maintaining high-quality EV infrastructure, supporting the transition to greener travel and helping meet environmental targets.

Additional Information
- Relevant technical qualification (engineering, electrical, construction or equivalent experience)
- Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- This role will be offered as a fixed term contract/ secondment for 2 years (24 months).
- This post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance at Standard level.
