Location: Dunfermline Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Role
Compass Associates are partnership with a well-established charity to recruit a Service Manager for a rare and highly rewarding supported living service supporting the transition of individuals from long-term hospital care into a community setting.
The service is part of a larger organisation recognised for its person-centred support across Scotland.
This is a unique opportunity to:

The ideal candidate is someone passionate about improving outcomes for individuals with complex needs.
Requirements For The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have: ✔ Strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours ✔ Previous management experience within supported living, residential care, or complex care services ✔ Experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) environments ✔ Strong understanding of:
- Safeguarding
- Relevant legislation
- Person-centred support
The client is seeking a resilient and compassionate leader who can:
- Lead with operational focus
- Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary professionals, and external stakeholders
- Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, and service delivery
Specific Requirements
- Minimum 2 years leadership/management experience within a relevant care setting
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and Scottish legislation

Desirable Skills
- Experience in hospital discharge or transition projects
- Trauma-informed practice experience
- SVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent management qualification
