About the Role

We are looking for a Service Manager to lead our Supported Living service at Milnshaw House, Accrington on a fixed-term maternity cover basis.

You’ll oversee a well-established service, ensuring effective day-to-day running while supporting your team and the individuals we care for. This is a chance to drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance, and make a meaningful impact.


Location: Milnshaw House, Accrington

Contract: Fixed Term – MAT Cover

Salary: £42k

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the staff team
  • Ensure person-centred care and support is delivered effectively
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards (e.g., CQC)
  • Oversee staffing, rota management, and performance
  • Lead on audits, action plans, and continuous quality improvement
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, families, and professionals
  • Support and develop the team through coaching and one-to-one supervision

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager (or similar leadership role) in health and social care
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., CQC)
