Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership in Bury St Edmunds, offering an excellent opportunity to lead a successful aftersales operation while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
The Role
As Service Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Service Department, leading and developing a high-performing team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop Controllers. You'll ensure operational excellence, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and consistently achieve departmental targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Service Department team.
- Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure manufacturer standards and compliance are maintained.
- Manage departmental budgets, KPIs, and performance reporting.
- Handle escalated customer queries professionally and effectively.
- Work closely with other departments to maximise business opportunities.
- Create a positive, high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Service Manager within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commercially aware with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
