We are seeking a passionate and experienced public health professional with a strong knowledge of tobacco dependency treatment to become our Service Manager (Tobacco Dependency Treatment). Tobacco dependency treatment is a key element of our wider tobacco control agenda as we aim for Derbyshire to become smokefree by 2030. The tobacco dependency treatment service sits within Live Life Better Derbyshire (LLBD) that provides a range of health improvement services.
Derbyshire has an innovative tobacco dependency treatment service that offers full range of pharmacotherapy treatment options, access to the Smokefree App, and is developing tailored treatment support for priority groups. The postholder will be responsible for the further development of the service.

In Derbyshire the tobacco dependency treatment is delivered both in community settings and at two acute hospitals for both adult inpatients and pregnant women. You will also contribute to the wider tobacco control programme and play a key role in developing LLBD more generally.
As well as significant public health knowledge you will have experience of managing individuals and teams as well developing and delivering services. You will be a committed individual who can work in partnership with colleagues in LLBD, public health and other stakeholders across the wider Derbyshire healthcare system.
