Transplant Services and Transplant Labs Clinical Service Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in Transplant Services and Transplant Labs Clinical Service, in the Renal, Haematology and Transplant Services Care Division. The Care Division welcomes applications from motivated and dynamic individuals who have strong leadership and organisational skills, to join respective leadership teams. Details for each role can be found in the ‘Main Duties’ section; prior experience in an acute healthcare setting is desirable.
Service Manager Position
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Clinical Service triumvirate and is responsible for delivery of all operational performance targets (elective general surgery and transplantation), including access targets, delivery of financial balance and the quality of services to patients alongside service improvement.
- Works closely with the General Manager, Clinical Director and Lead Nurse and Clinical Group Directors/ leadership teams to achieve the MFT/Clinical Group objectives.
- Leads on a number of agreed projects as directed by the Associate Director of Performance and Operations to improve patient care and services and the wellbeing of staff.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational management.
- Supports service development and improvement, ensuring delivery of MFT’s Strategic aims and support Care Division cross-cutting workstreams.
