Service Operations Specialist

You’ll play a key part in ensuring our services are delivered efficiently and accurately from start to finish.
Mission This role exists to ensure the accurate and timely execution of Service Operations activities, supporting the smooth delivery of services from quote through to delivery handover and billing. You’ll be responsible for managing key operational processes, maintaining data accuracy and coordinating with teams across Sales, PMO, Delivery, Finance and Partners. As part of a fast‑moving environment, you’ll help maintain consistency, reliability and control across the services lifecycle.

What you will deliver in the role Process service quotes and orders accurately, ensuring correct use of systems and processes Manage the service order lifecycle from initial request through to delivery handover and invoicing Raise and maintain quotes and orders, ensuring alignment to agreed operational standards Create and manage job numbers, working closely with PMO and Delivery teams Support accurate billing processes and assist with monthly reconciliation activities Manage incoming requests through shared mailboxes and queues efficiently Coordinate with Sales, PMO, Delivery, Finance, Legal and Partners to progress operational activity Maintain accurate records, documentation and tracking across systems and spreadsheets Support renewals for contracted services and products Follow governance processes, ensuring approvals, documentation and controls are consistently applied
Essentials Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling data Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured way Clear written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working to defined processes, governance and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel and Teams A proactive and organised approach to day‑to‑day work Willingness to learn and adapt within a fast‑paced services environment Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple teams
